This is probably the 20th reboot of the site in almost 30 years.
Welcome to Unspecific.com
This is my personal site, where I share my art, code, ideas, and more. We’ll see if this turns into more than just a handful of “blog” entries. I have plenty to say—stories to tell and advice no one asked for.
I’ve been working in Internet Technology since 1995. I was one of the early employees at an ISP, helping grow it from a small local provider to a nationwide network with POPs in most major cities. I wore many hats—Webmaster, MIS Manager, and all-around stressed-out tech. In 1998, I joined broadcast.com, and within a year, we were acquired by Yahoo! That’s when I found myself thrown into the world of Information Security—and the rest is history.
If you’re curious about how I got here, want to hear some wild stories from my past, or see more of my artistic and maker side, check back regularly. I’ll also be posting a link to BSky (see above).
If there’s something specific, you’d like me to write about, feel free to reach out!
Thanks,
Lee ‘MadHat’ Heath
